Protein binding

Due to low systemic absorption of odevixibat, plasma protein binding studies could not be performed in vivo. In vitro, data suggests >99% protein bound.

Absorption and Bioavailability

Poor bioavailability. Majority of adult and pediatric patients do not have detectable plasma concentrations after administration.
